He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Loretta Rasmussen, his brothers Wayne James (Jim) Rasmussen and William (Bill) John Rasmussen.
He is survived by Beverly Rasmussen, his life, business and travel partner of 50 years. Together they supported each other's careers and dreams, started and ran a computer business in Saint Robert MO for over 30 years, owned and operated a small ranch, traveled around the United States (visiting 49 states) and visited various countries around the World.
Joe's passions included everything in the field of Electronics, exploring wines from around the world and experiencing new places and sights. Two of his favorite trips were Circumventing the Globe and traveling down the Mississippi River on a Riverboat.
Joe enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was instrumental in putting together his 50th High School Reunion and reconnecting with past classmates. He will be missed by his extended siblings (Cynthia Frizzle, John Frizzle (Connie,) Bill Frizzle (Terri), his sister-in-law LaDonna Rasmussen), his aunt, nieces and nephews, multiple close cousins and friends he has known for years.
Those who knew Joe well knew his motto was "Don't Tell Me What to Do" so, celebrate Joe and your memories of him however you choose. He will be watching.
