Winifred Marilyn Brink Brewer, age 80, of Dushore, PA, passed away very unexpectedly after an automobile accident on Tuesday morning, December 5, 2023.
Marilyn, as she was known by her family and friends was born on September 28, 1943, in Towanda, PA, at the old Mills Hospital a daughter of the late Eric Ira and Winifred Nellie Green Brink. She grew up in New Albany and attended Wyalusing Valley High School.
Marilyn lived in upstate New York for many years. After returning back to the area she worked at Weis Market in Tunkhannock.
Marilyn was a member of the New Albany Baptist Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gail Jacobs and Chuck Cunningham of Mansfield, PA, her grandson and his wife, Kenny and April Jacobs of Lawrenceville, PA, her great-granddaughter Laci Jacobs of Lawrenceville, PA. She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Charles and Pat Hall of Granville Summit, PA, and two sisters and brothers-in-laws: Cynthia and Don Brewer and Harriet and Jerry Brewer all of Meshoppen, PA, and a sister-in-law Dorothy God Brink of Asylum Twp., PA.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother Stephen Mitchell Brink on May 4, 2020, and a sister Mary Alice Brink in November of 2023.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA, with Pastor Terry Van Horn, officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, New Albany, PA.
Family and friends may call on Monday morning, December 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the start of the service at 11:00 AM in the Homer Funeral Home, Dushore, PA.
