Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home, Inc.Winnie Kreamer, age 86, of Ambler, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 16, 1939, in Philadelphia, Winnie was the daughter of Agnes (Flannery) and William Schuster. She attended Frankford High School and later married the love of her life, Robert H. Kreamer. Winnie and Bob shared a beautiful life together and celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary in 2004, the same year Bob passed away in December.
Winnie dedicated many years of service to the Wissahickon School District, beginning in food services and later transitioning to transportation as a school bus driver. She took great pride in her work and served as a union representative during her career. Winnie retired in 2004.
Throughout her retirement, Winnie remained deeply involved in her community. She lovingly volunteered with the Ambler Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels program and at the Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club, where she enjoyed helping students with their homework—and was fondly known for bringing tins of her homemade cookies. Winnie also served faithfully at her church, Calvary United Methodist Church in Ambler, where she held various roles, including trustee and committee member. A gifted cook and baker, she found joy and purpose in serving others during countless church events.
For 66 years, Winnie was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was honored to have served as a past Worthy Matron. She cherished spending her annual summer vacations in Long Beach Island and also enjoyed memorable trips to Williamsburg with Bob.
Winnie is survived by her children and their spouses: Robert K. Kreamer & Donna (Decembrino), Gary Kreamer & Dorothy (Horvath) and Scott Kreamer & Megan (Mason). Her grandchildren and their spouses: Christine & Christopher Loftus, Kelly & Matthew Curtis, Patrick, and Kaylani and her great-grandchildren Connor, Emma, and Molly Curtis and Camryn, Anthony and Addison Loftus, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Winnie’s life was one of service, love, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 13th, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 16 Park Avenue, Ambler, PA 19002. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the North Penn Valley Boys & Girls Club, P. O. Box 103, Lansdale, PA 19446. Contributions will be directed to the Robert H. and Winifried E. Kreamer Scholarship Fund.
