Wonette Louise (Anderson) Vallot, 80, of Shreveport LA, passed away peacefully in her home on February 14 2024 after a lengthy illness.
Wonette was born on May 7 1943 in Shreveport LA to Walter and Vivian Anderson. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her daughter Susan Jarecki, step daughters Anne (Lee) Riley, Laurie (Marty) Cox, step sons Joseph Vallot, John (Paula) Vallot, granddaughter Jessica (Evan Lee) Blaine, grandson Hunter Hayes, great grandchildren Braygen, Bud, Baylor and Brier. Her sister Jean Daugherty and many beloved nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
Wonette is preceded in death by Dudley Vallot, the love of her life and fellow adventurer as well as her son Jeffrey Hayes and sisters June Morgan and Ruby Giles.
Wonette was a longtime waitress at Don's Seafood and Steakhouse and Ralph & Kacoo's where she met many wonderful lifetime friends. She loved to travel, garden and spend time with her family. Her great grandchildren were the lights of her life! Wonette was a beautiful person inside and out.
A memorial service to honor Wonette's life will be held at Aulds Funeral Home 7849 E. Kings Highway on Monday February 19. Visitation starts at 10am followed by a service at 11am with Bro Joey Ketchum officiating.
