Xai Yang, (50 years old), passed away on December 3rd, 2023. Xai, also known as Johnny, was born in Vangvieng, Laos on July 14th, 1973. He immigrated to the United States of America on January 21st, 1980. He spent his teenage years in Fresno, California and moved to Minnesota in May of 1996. He lived in Minnesota for the rest of his years.
He is survived by his loving children Linn Thao, John Yang, Pa Chia Yang, Joshua Yang, Jayden Yang, Evangeline Yang, and Juliet Yang. He is also survived by his parents Chan Fong Yang and Xong Cha, as well as his siblings Ma Yang, Lee Yang, Blong Yang, Mai Yang and Connie Yang. Xai was predeceased by his youngest brother David Yang.
Xai had many interests such as cars, fishing and hunting. Aside from his hobbies, Xai dedicated his time to his children by watching movies and celebrating the big and little things in life with them. He taught his children the most important thing in life is to wholeheartedly love your family. Xai will forever remain in our hearts and the love that he shared will leave memories that no one could ever take.
Xai's family will host a funeral service on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. The service will take place at Mueller Memorial Funeral Home at the White Bear Lake location, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave.
