Xavier Marquez Arellano, 31, of Pampa, passed away on March 29, 2026, in Pampa.
Celebration of life services for Xavier will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Pampa. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Xavier was born to Margaret Arellano and Patrick Edwards on August 21, 1994, in Pampa. As a young boy, he moved to Houston where he would reside until he came back to Pampa to finish high school. While in high school, he would meet Tikeya Jackson, and she would become his future wife and mother of his beloved children. In 2015, the high school sweethearts were married and continued to build their and children’s lives together.
Xavier was a hardworking man who always looked for new opportunities to provide for his family. He had tenure at different organizations such as Haliburton, Texas Department of Transportation, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and most recently at Nutrien, in Borger. If he wasn’t working, Xavier could always be found with his wife, children, siblings, and the family.
He was the glue that helped the two big families stay connected. Xavier was a supportive father who was always with his children and tried his best to be at all their games and functions. Xavier will be remembered as a funny, respectful, and well-mannered family man that will be missed greatly.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Eliceo “Frito” Rivera; grandmother, Limmie Jackson; and aunts, Sandra Jackson, and Jeanette Coleman.
Xavier is survived by his wife, Tikeya Arellano of the home; children, Taliyah, Xavier, Ezra, and Zaleigh; mother, Margaret Arellano; father, Patrick Edwards; siblings, Patrick Edwards, Jr., Dalen Edwards and wife Ely, Breana Edwards, Prentiss Edwards, Nicholas Robinson, McKenzie Arellano, Ivie Osorio and husband Alex, and Isaiah Brazle; maternal grandmother, Jovita Rivera; paternal grandparent, Ovie Edwards; father-in-law, Michael Martinez; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
