Dr. Yee Juan Lim M.D.

Dr. Yee Juan Lim, M.D., age 86, of Beachwood, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023. Dr. Lim was born and raised in Zamboanga, Philippines and graduated from Sto. Thomas Medical School. In 1962, he came to the United States to pursue an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship. That same year, he married Elsie (nee Veloso), and they shared 61 happy years of marriage. Dr. Lim was a dedicated cardiologist and cared for scores of patients in his many years of practice at the Cleveland Clinic. In his retirement, he enjoyed good food shared with family, friendly rounds of mahjong, cheering for Cleveland sports, and spending time with his grandchildren. Juan was the beloved husband of Elsie; loving father of Joaquin (Ellen) Lim and John (Anne Jacobson) Lim; cherished grandfather of Elizabeth (David) Grimm, Jessica (Michael Johnston) Lim, Joaquin "Jake" Lim, Ethan Lim, Daniel Lim and Maya Lim; great-grandfather of Evan Grimm; dear brother of the late Yee Pue Lim, Yee Tin Lim, Suat Eng Te, Yee King Lim and Suat Cheng; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
