Yvette Darlene Hatter, 64, of Princeton, WV passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. Born June 1,1960 in Welch, WV, she was a daughter of the late Stewart Presley and Dorothy Barnett Presley. She was a homemaker. Yvette enjoyed quilting, sewing and crafting. In addition to her parents, Yvette was preceded in death by one son, Burton Perry, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
Those left to cherish Yvette’s memory are her husband, Jack Hatter of the home; son, Matthew Perry of Princeton, WV; daughter, Melissa Perry of Princeton, WV; stepdaughter, Rhonda Townley of Beckley, WV; brother, Michael Presley of Alabama; four grandchildren, Dylan Thomason, Conner Thomason, Kaden Kasper, and Edward Blankenship; four great-grandchildren, Finn Thomason, Luke Thomason, Peyton Thomason, and Maggie Blankenship.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Mathena officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Hatter family.
