She, and her brother, Gerald, were raised on a dairy farm in WI. Gerald and Willard "Bill" Hahn were Nike Army buddies when Gerald introduced Bill to his sister. Yvonne and Bill were married May 11, 1957, and moved to the Hahn dairy farm in Nelson Twp.
Yvonne and her high school classmate, Trudy, kept in touch over the years. At 75 years of age, Yvonne and Trudy took a hot air balloon ride in Portage County, along with Yvonne's boss, Dale Lappert, and her niece, Brianne Finney. Yvonne loved being outdoors, farming, animals, reading, gardening, flowers, and cats.
She will forever be missed by her husband of over 69 years, Willard "Bill" Hahn; granddaughters, Keri (Dan) Fackler and Erica Hall; great grandchildren, Makayla, Nathan, and DaRon. Yvonne wishes to remember her friend, Mary Jane Orr, and her niece, Brianne (Dave) Finney, for their help and kindness.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Eileen; grandson, Trevor, and brother, Gerald.
Per Yvonne's wishes, she is to be cremated. Please join the family for a graveside service on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at Harrington Cemetery, Hopkins Rd., Nelson Twp., OH. Pastor Sandra Dennis-Greenberg will be officiating. Care for Yvonne was entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
