Debbie Ruth Bican passed away on October 5, 2025.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 13, 1950. She lived on Ramona Boulevard and moved to Brunswick, Ohio in her early teens. Debbie married Donald "Don" Bican in September 1989, and they celebrated 36 years of marriage on September 30, 2025.

She graduated from Brunswick High School in 1968 and continued her education at Ashland Theological Seminary, completing her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling.

Debbie was a former member of Chippewa Lake Council, former board member of the Chippewa Lake Water Ski Team, co-owner of Bethesda Counseling Ministry and retired Counselor at Cloverleaf High School.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Don Bican; son, Adam (Kelly Lewis) Bican; grandsons, Jake Ramsdell, Aidan Polansky, Max Bican and Niko Bican; sister, Jayne Paytosh; niece, Dawn Paytosh. Some of her best times were spent with her many close cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

She is preceded in death by son Lucas "Luke" Ramsdell; father, Ansel "Bud" Coleman, mother, Marilyn (Johnson) Coleman; and brother, Chuck Coleman.

Deb loved life and people. She was quick to listen and slow to speak. She was non-judgmental, empathetic and accepted people for who they are. She will live on in all of our hearts.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9 from 2:00 - 8:00pm at Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. A funeral service will immediately follow at 8:00 pm at the funeral home. A private family burial will take place at Waltz Cemetery.
