Zak was like a shining star. He had that sparkle in his eyes and a smile like a rainbow. His laugh was big, quick and contagious. He truly was kind and gentle, a great example for all who knew him. I am thankful for all that Zak taught me and all he shared with us. He will forever be his little sister's "Ak" and his little brother's super hero. I love you and miss you. Heaven holds you now....Love, Aannabelle

Zak I have so many great memories with you, our late night car drives to the middle of no where, our dates to steak&shake and 17th street, the great memories we had at the park with riley,. almost everytime u came to my house u would surpize me with a moca moolatta just to see a smile on my face. you would make me smile more then anyone else could. you were defiantly one of a kind, you had such a big heart, the love u always shown me was unconditional and i appreciate that more then anything. Zak was the type of person who always stopped to say hello and share a smile. He is someone that you could always have a good laugh and conversation with. If you didn't know him personally, it only took a few minutes to realize that he was a loyal and compassionate person. Prayers to all those who were lucky enough to have Zak in thier lives. What a wonderful person he was.

Zak was a very nice person. My heart goes out to all those who knew and loved him. I will always remember how Zak took me to the local Casey's gas station for coffee, nearly, if not everyday, when I was in West Frankfort and with out a car.

Zak was always a very pleasant, soft spoken young man. The world is a lesser place without his presence.

He will be missed by many including myself.
