Zachary Douglas Raines, age 30, of 334 Pea Ridge Hwy., Jonesville, passed away suddenly Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
Zachary was born in Spartanburg, February 7, 1992, and is the son of Amanda Lancaster England and husband Jamison of Jonesville and Allen Lee Raines and wife Lee of Fayetteville, NC. He graduated from Union County High School in 2012 and was his mother's pride and joy. Zachary loved dogs and he loved to give hugs to everyone he met.
Surviving in addition to parents are a brother, Tyler Raines of Union; a special nephew, Tyson Raines of the home; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Lancaster; his paternal grandmother, Brenda Prince both of Buffalo; a special grandmother, Catherine England of Union; an uncle, Brian Lancaster and wife Dena of Buffalo; an aunt, Rhonda Sanders and husband Russell of Buffalo and special sisters, Christen Mayes, Savannah England and Caroline Holliday. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Mac Lancaster and his paternal grandfather Harry Raines.
A gathering to celebrate his life will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, August 5, 2022 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
The family will be at the home, 334 Pea Ridge Hwy., Jonesville, SC 29353.
