Zada Diane Boyd, 78, of Stanford, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital in Danville. She was the wife of David Kinnard Boyd whom she married on October 14, 1961 at the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Lancaster. Zada was born in Garrard County, KY on November 2, 1943, a daughter of the late Mary May (Johnson) and Walker Poynter. She was baptized at the Willow Grove Baptist Church and was a faithful member there until she was no longer able to attend due to her health. She enjoyed talking on the phone and getting together with her family to play cards. Zada loved to draw, make crafts and was also a wonderful cook and would feed anybody that came to her house.

Funeral Service: 12:30pm, Friday, September 2, 2022
Place of Service: McKnight Funeral Home Chapel
Officiating: Bro. Jackie Johnson
Place of Burial: Goshen Cemetery
Visitation will be after 11:30 am, Friday until funeral time at McKnight Funeral Home.
