Zalie Hobson Obituary

She was born on July 24, 1933, in Union, SC, to the late Dewitt and Annie Fincher Garner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Joshua "J.W." Hobson in 2014; and a brother, Frank Garner.
Zalie was a godly woman. She loved all animals, but her dogs held a special place in her heart. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
She is survived by a son, Tim White (Michelle) of Waynesville; two nephews, Van Garner (Tammy) and Phil Garner (Lorraine), both of Union, SC; a special friend, Marsha Mooney, of Waynesville; and numerous extended family.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Maggie Valley Nursing & Rehab for their wonderful care over the years.
Per Zalie's wishes, no formal services will be held.
