Zayuri Payen Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Zayuri B. Payen, 44 year old of Midland, TX. who passed away in her home on December 25, 2023.
Zayuri, was born in Pecos, TX. to Ruben Franco Payen and Teresa Bustillos on January 23, 1979. She went to Midland High School and married Alonso Jaquez, of Delicias, Chihuahua, MX.
Zayuri, was proceeded in death by her husband Alonso Jaquez, her father Ruben Payen Franco from Ojinaga, Chihuahua, MX., her maternal grandparents Guadalupe Bustillos Madrid and Eusebia Levario Bustillos from Odessa, her paternal grandparents Ramon Nuñez Payen and Tomasa Franco de Payen from La Mula, Chihuahua, MX., nephew George Micheal Andrade of Odessa.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons John Paul Payen, Nathan Alonso Jaquez and daughter Samantha Zayuri Jaquez, two grandchildren Juan Pablo Payen Jr and Adelina Jaquez, her mother Teresa Bustillos of Midland, her brother Guadalupe and sister-in-law Maria, sisters Yolanda, Veronica, Iris, Laura, Carina and Asusena, 51 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be January 2, 2023 from 1-9pm and rosary will be at 7pm.
Funeral Services will be held January 3, 2024 with a Holy Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, TX. Funeral arrangements held by Martinez Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ruben Payen, Efrain Payen, Saul Payen, John Bustillos and Guadalupe Bustillos
Con gran pesar lamentamos el fallecimiento de Zayuri B. Payen, de 44 años de edad de Midland, TX. el día 25 de Diciembre, 2023 en su casa. Zayuri nació en Pecos, TX el día 23 de Enero 1979 hija de Ruben Payen Franco+ y Teresa Bustillos. Ella atendió a la escuela Midland High y se casó con el Sr. Alonso Jaquez+ de Delicias, Chihuahua, MX.
A Zayuri, le precedieron en la muerte su padre Rubén Payen Franco, sus abuelos paternos Ramon Payen Núñez y Tomas Franco de Payen de Ojinaga, MX. sus abuelos maternos Guadalupe Bustillos Madrid y Eusebia Levario de Bustillos y su sobrino George Michael Andrade de Odessa, TX.
Zayuri fue sobrevivida por sus hijos Juan Pablo Payen, Nathan Alonso Jaquez y su hija Samantha Zayuri Jaquez sus nietos Juan Pablo Payen Jr. y Adelina Jaquez, su madre Teresa Bustillos, su hermano Guadalupe y su cuñada María sus hermanas Yolanda, Veronica, Iris, Laura, Carina y Asucena y 51 sobrinos y sobrinas quienes la recordaran con mucho amor.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el martes 2 de Enero del 2024 de 1 de la tarde a 9 de la noche en la funeraria Martínez con un rosario a las 7 de la tarde.
Servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo a las 2 de la tarde en la Iglesia Católica San José el miércoles 3 de Enero 2024 el sepelio en el Sunset Memorial Gardens en Odessa, TX. Arreglos fúnebres son por la funeraria Martínez
Los portadores del féretro serán Rubén Payén, Efraín Payén, Saúl Payén, John Bustillos y Guadalupe Bustillos.
