Zenaida Holt

Zenaida Camacho Holt, 69, of Leavenworth, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Born on September 11, 1956, in the Philippines, Zenaida brought warmth, grace, and strength into every life she touched. She met her beloved husband, Scott Holt, while he was serving in the United States Marine Corps, he was deployed in Subic Bay, Philippines and they both knew it was love at first sight. After a short time as their love grew, they married in Honolulu, Hawaii and together they built a life rooted in love, family, and resilience. They shared 43 wonderful years of marriage, and Zenaida proudly stood by her husband, Scott's side as a patriotic American, supporting his difficult times, and our country, as well as their family with unwavering dedication. She was a strong, brave and courageous woman, who was as firey, witty, and as tough as they come. She took care of her three beautiful children by herself, during Scott's numerous deployments.
Zenaida was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Scott Holt; her children: Zachary Holt and wife Amanda, Kyle Holt and wife Amber, all of Corydon; and Shelby Jenkins and husband Chaz of Depauw.
She deeply cherished her grandchildren: Caden, Izabella, Jonathon, Kaydince, Lona, Tymberlee, and Zolten and was a constant source of love and encouragement in their lives.
Zenaida will be remembered for her strength, generous spirit, and the love she poured into her family and those who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and devotion will live on through those she leaves behind.
A service celebrating Zenaida's life will be conducted by Pastor Tim Johnson at Gehlbach and Royse funeral home (318 East Chestnut Street, Corydon, Indiana 47112) on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the service time of 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the funeral home.
