Ziva H. Kerchansky, age 15, of Erie passed away at her residence on Monday, October 6, 2025. She was born in Erie on July 2, 2010 a daughter of Michael Kerchansky and Angela Galt Kerchansky.
Ziva was a 10th grade student at Erie High School. She loved all types of animals, was a cat rescuer, enjoyed drawing, was a tattoo artist, but most especially Ziva was a very loving person that had the ability to make people laugh by the faces she would make.
Ziva was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Stephen and Lucille Kerchansky. Besides her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Ian Kerchansky and Ava Kerchansky, maternal grandmother, Brenda Bauwin (Jim) and several aunts, uncle and cousins.
Friends are invited to call on Friday from 10 am until the time of a service at 11 am at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family C/O the funeral home.
