Zulema Huerta

Zulema Ramos Huerta was born January 7, 1931, at the age of 92 she was called to be with the Lord on Thursday June 29, 2023, from her home in San Antonio Tx.
Zulema was born to the late Marcos G. Ramos and Josefa S. Ramos, preceded in death by her brother and sister Reynol S. Ramos, Josie R. Malish, and living sister Oralia R. Trevino, and is survived by her late loving husband of 71 years of marriage to Ignacio L. Huerta. Loving mother of five children Gloria Huerta Espinosa and spouse Edward, Eugene R. Huerta and spouse Leticia, Odilia Huerta Martinez, Ricardo R. Huerta and spouse Lucy, Estevan Ignacio Huerta and spouse Alice. Proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Zulema as a young lady was a cotton picker in the cotton fields. Zulema was a devoted loving housewife, loving mother and a super grandma always there for her grandchildren, loving to the great grandkids, and caring to the great great grandchildren. She took such pride in maintaining her home and garden. She was a faithful servant of God. She enjoyed dancing with the love of her life our dad Ignacio Huerta. She always loved to cook for her family. She was an amazing cook! She loved her family gatherings.
Our mom Zulema will be deeply missed by everyone.
