John Corna Obituary

John (Johnny) Paul Corna

On October 28, 2022, Johnny left this earth too soon. He was 38 years old, and he is survived by his loving parents, John and Barb Corna, his beloved sisters, Holly (Kevin) King, Katie (Walter) Hamlin and his adorable nieces, Makenna and Kaydence. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Paula Mensch, his second family the Borman/Burrows as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

John was charismatic and had an ability to strike up a conversation with anyone about anything. He was a talented creative writer and avid reader, which explained his extensive knowledge of various topics. You'd always leave the conversation knowing more than when it started. His genuine kind heart and care for those around him along with his great sense of humor and keen memory were a few of his many endearing qualities. No words can truly capture how special he was or his unique gift of making you feel better after talking to him than you did before. He was a loving brother, son, and uncle who loved spending time with family and always made sure everyone else was taken care of.

There will be a private service held. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to any local animal rescue organization.

I was John´s boss when he worked at the Old Spaghetti Factory in San Jose. He was always so kind and funny- I remember him telling me he was writing a novel and I was so intrigued. I adopted his cat when his landlord found out he had one. I´m so, so sad to see this news, but I want you to know how appreciated John was. I´m so glad to have known him.

I worked with John & I told him all the time he was my favorite. When others where giving me a hard time when I first started he had no ego at all he just teamed up with me and helped me. I love him dearly & I truly hope and pray he came to know the Lord Jesus before he passed. sending everyone my condolences. I wish I could have attended his funeral. We all wish we could have been there.

John, Barb, Holly and Katie,
We are devastated by the news of the passing of Johnny. Every family get together was a pleasure to have John there with his fabulous stories and superior knowledge of almost any topic we discussed. A gregarious young man with an infectious smile. Our hearts go out to the family. John will be missed.

My condolences to the family. I was John´s next door neighbor for several years. He was such a great guy and had a huge smile anytime I ran in to him. He always took the time to chat. I will miss him dearly and my heart hurts knowing he won´t be right next door anymore.
It´s hard to believe and again, my deep condolences to the family. May he Rest In Peace now.

I am so saddened by this news. I was John´s neighbor for several years and always loved chatting with him. He always had that amazing smile and was always friendly and took the time to say hi. Gone way too soon and it won´t be the same here anymore not seeing him next door.
My condolences to the family. May he Rest In Peace.
