Matt Grantham Obituary
Matt was one of a kind - sharp-witted, strong, endlessly curious, and full of heart. He loved being outdoors and had a passion for gardening, permaculture, and creating peaceful and fun spaces with garden decorations. Matt was an avid San Francisco Giants and Warriors fan.
He never shied away from a spirited debate, especially when it came to politics or how the world was run - always questioning, always challenging, always thinking. As a philosophy major, he especially kept us on our toes - always encouraging us to look deeper, think harder, and challenge assumptions. And we loved him for it.
Matt is survived by his loving wife, Shana Grantham; his wonderful stepson Robert Olive, his sister, two brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Please join us for a celebration of Matt's life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Mulberry Picnic Area at Kennedy Park in Napa, CA.
Dessert will be served.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities in honor of Matt's courageous fight. Matt G Grantham
