Carol O'Leary Obituary

Carol Ann (nee Kasch) O'Leary, Naperville, age 83, died peacefully with family by her side. Carol was born in Newcastle, PA on September 6, 1938, to her father Fred Kasch and mother Evelyn Palmer Kasch. After moving to Chicago, she attended St. Peter Canisius Catholic grade school and Notre Dame High School for Girls. She made great friends in school and enjoyed meeting up with the girls in her "Club" for many years. In 1959, she married her husband of 61 years. She and her husband were owners of a White Hen Pantry in Norridge for 3 years. She later worked for Central States Health and Welfare fund for 23 years, retiring in 2003. Throughout her life, she was well known for her kindness, curiosity, selflessness, and strong faith. Words cannot adequately describe the outsized impact she had as a mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Marilyn Casaletto and Donna Kane. She is survived by children, Maureen OLeary, Tim O'Leary(wife Kelly) , Eileen Murphy, and Kevin O'Leary (wife Tami); grandchildren Stephen Cox, Daniel Cox, Meghan O'Leary, Maggie Murphy, Katy O'Leary, Katie Murphy, Sean Murphy, Brendan O'Leary, and Katherine O'Leary. Memorial Visitation: Saturday, December 18th 9 :00-10:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1450 Green Trail Drive, Naperville, 60540. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at Church. Interment is private and future inurnment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (jdrf.org). Arrangements entrusted to Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S.
