Leonard McIlhone Obituary
From a little boy on, Joe was an avid fisherman, hunter, baseball player, and part-time golfer. Joe retired as a Shipping/Receiving Lead after 32 years of employment from Amcor (formerly Banner Packaging/Bemis). He was a hard worker with an awesome sense of humor and had so many plans for the future. He treated his wife and dog both like Queens.
Joe loved and was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his wife of 26 years, Julie; his siblings: Deborah (Charles) Fox, Laurie (Joseph) Fernandez, Larry (Lori) McIlhone, Lana (John) Knuijt, Lisa Hartung and Yvonne (Michael) Erickson. He is also survived by his in-laws: Debra Reichel, LeAnn (Drew) Amond, Paul (Mandy) Reichel; many nieces and nephews and by his hunting companion Cricket. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Kenneth Hartung.
Memorial services for Joe will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday August 9, 2024 at the Kessler Fahrenkrug Funeral Home 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah. Gathering of family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services. A meal and celebration of Joe's life will be held at the funeral home following the services.
