Arthur William Gable, 86, of Tunkhannock, passed away at the Residential Hospice Wilkes-Barre, on Mar. 12, 2021.
He was born in Tunkhannock on Nov. 27, 1934, and he was the son the of late Albert and Margaret Law Gable.
He was married to the former Frances Jacques for 63 years.
Arthur was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School and he worked at Procter & Gamble for 25 years. He enjoyed beekeeping, wood working, hunting, fishing, traveling, and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Marie Gable, and a brother, Carl Gable.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Jacqueline and husband David Dippold of Pennsylvania, Judy and Philip Protz of North Carolina, and Arthur and Susanne Gable of New York; brother Donald and wife Violet of Michigan; sister Rosemary and husband Ralph Mann of Georgia; eight grandchildren; and three3 great grandchildren.
