Andrew Hideg Obituary
NEWARK: A funeral service for Andrew Ryan Hideg, 27 of Columbus will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Andrew died Tuesday, April, 12, 2011 at his residence. He was born July 16, 1983 in Newark, Ohio.
He was employed as a hair stylist at Great Clips on Sawmill Road. He was formerly employed at Kenneth Hair Salon in New Albany. He was also currently a student at Columbus State. He was active in physical fitness by lifting weights, running and yoga. He enjoyed reading. He cared deeply about animal rescue and the humane society. He spent many hours with friends on facebook.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Patti A. (Crothers) and Brian Jaccaud of Newark; father, Greg A. Hideg of Newark; grandparents, Carol Carlisle of Newark, Louis (Lois) Hideg of Hebron, Donald (Polly) Jaccaud of Pataskala; sister, Jessica Jaccaud of Reynoldsburg; brother, Chad Harmon of Newark; aunts, Denise Low of Colorado Springs, CO., Debra (Mike) Ewing of Newark; uncles, Steve Hideg of Newark, Waite Carlisle of Granville, Rob Carlisle, II of Pickerington, Kenny Crothers of Columbus; several cousins and many friends.
Calling hours will be observed Sunday April 17, 2011 from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street. The family requests memorial contributions to the local humane society. www.vocfh.com.

I was a client of Andrew's at Great Clips. From the first time, it was obvious he excelled at his craft, and I asked for him each time after that. It was also obvious he took pride in giving his clients the best. There were many locations more convenient to me, but I drove past them all for Andrew's store. The last time he cut my hair, I told him that.

A week has gone by since this horrible nightmare took place.I just wish I would wake up to find out that it was a bad dream. There have been many tragedies in my life, but losing you, my sweet, loving son has been the most devastating one. People say that it will get easier as time passes, but my heart and soul will never mend. There is not one part of me that doesn't ache!

Andrew, I am at a loss for words, I have had a deep, deep knot in my body since you left us last Wednesday to go to a Higher calling. I am truly saddened that we will no longer hear your voice, enjoy your company or see that Million $$ smile. He gave his beautiful gentle smile, his conversation, his hugs, his unique joyous laughter, and his joy for living life to the fullest. My partner and I knew Andrew in his teens while working at a local restaurant. As soon as I saw his picture, I knew that smile!! What a sweet, smiling, funny boy he was! I will always cherish every second we spent together, talked, laughed and just being in my life for such a short time. I've known Andrew since grade school when we went to VBS together in the summer and on. He was a great person and I have many memories that include him. I still remember running into him at Lowe's and he stopped to talk for a few minutes and it was like I'd just seen him a couple days before. Andrew, you will greatly missed.

I still can't believe it, just can't. I met Drew at Caribou back in 2004 or so, and have great memories of our group of friends hanging out on the patio there until well after closing. Those were good times! I was so proud of Drew when he got his job at Kenneth's. It always made my day when he'd come in to visit at the Gahanna Caribou when I worked there. He had a loving heart and such a smile...Oh, that smile! I'm really going to miss him! His family and friends are in my prayers.
