Debra Durst Obituary
NEWARK: Funeral services for Debra Kaye Durst will be held 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N 21st Street, Newark. The family will receive friends and acquaintances beginning at 4 P.M. Wednesday until time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Durst, age 59, passed away at her home on Friday, April 15, 2016. She was born July 9, 1956 in Columbus, OH to Samuel and Ruby (Havens) Durst. She worked in food services for many years before her illness overcame her.
Debra is survived by her daughters April Buxton of Canton and Linda (Dustin) Abbott of Newark; son Stephen W. Buxton Jr. of Westerville; grandchildren Dakota, Tyler, Kayelinn, Kalie, Jonathan, Dominick, Gregory Jr., Stephen III and Shawn; great grandchildren Arianna and Roman; mother Ruby Delores Buxton; sisters Sandy (Bob) Barbour, Diane Carroll and Linda (Roger) Stevens; brother Gene Durst as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Debra was preceded in death by her sister Sue Clark, brother Kevin Buxton, nephew Steven Barbour, her canine companion Elsie and one of the loves of her life Elvis Presley.
Memorial contribution to the funeral home is suggested by the family to defray expenses.
