Let there be no mistake, Charles Eatmon was one in a million. There has never been a more honest, forthright person that has ever lived in Craven County. He has helped more people than anyone will ever know, most do not even know what he did for them. If you knew Charlie you need to count yourself extremely lucky.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Charlie at the Depot when he was the 950 Division Director and I was the Ergonomics Program Manager. His easy manner and laugh made for a good working experience, especially on the A/C workstand design projects. He was kind and fair.

My late husband, Doug Morris used to love to see him. They would always run into each other at the sale in Troutman, they enjoyed catching up on one anothers lives. Sory for your loss

To all the family. I loved watching him bale the peanut hay when Keith & Jimmy raised them.Such a great man. Always stopped to talk when coming out of the Post Office at Ernul. Always a smile. He will be missed. God Bless all of you during this time.

Charley was a good person. I knew Charley thru our mutual employment at the Depot. He was in production and I was in QA. We became friends and remained friends for years. Those two different fields are not conducive to fostering lasting friendships like we shared, which says a lot about the down to earth human being Charley was. God bless his family. May he rest in peace.
