Rev Hancox and Family, On behalf of Falmouth Baptist Church we would like to extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of Doris. You both were so involved in the Falmouth community while you were Pastor from 1972 thru 1979. You touched so many lives spiritually and with your hospitality and wisdom. As Jesus directed, you came to serve . Doris initiated our Wednesday night suppers as well as many other fellowships. God bless you at this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Jack and Family. We are heartbroken still with the loss of Your precious Doris. You were such an asset to Falmouth Baptist Church and especially to Lin and I. God bless you all we love you. Doris was such a special and elegant lady. A strong Christian example for us all and she could make the best ever cherry cobbler God grant you his peace and comfort. My husband Budd and I just saw this...how we loved Doris and Jack! I met Jack when he counseled on Oak Island and met Doris through him when they lived on Womble Street in Oak Island. He officiated our wedding back in April of 2000. Doris was a wonderful blessing to me and my children especially during difficult days in the 1990s. I am sure she is enjoying herself praising God and continuing her conversation with Jesus.

I will always remember the delicious choucroute au champagne that I was invited to share with Doris and family on Oak Island many years ago. Her generosity has always stuck with me. My thoughts are with your whole family as you grieve this great loss.
