Abigail Baldwin Obituary

Abigail M. Baldwin, 80, of Edgewater, passed away on March 27 at her home. She was a native of Buffalo, New York and came to this area from Omaha, Nebraska in 1984. Abby was a teacher and a member of PEO. She loved reading, traveling and doing crossword puzzles. She was a very active member of her church, St. Peter The Fisherman of New Smyrna Beach. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Louis Baldwin, son William (Mary Jo) Reynolds of Edgewater, FL, daughter Charlene (William) Alsip of Amelia, Ohio, sister Melinda Crouse of Dayton, Ohio, sister in law Donna Hardy of Rocky River, Ohio, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. There will be a service for her at Baldwin Brothers New Smyrna on Saturday, April 1 at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, you may make memorials in her name to the Alzheimer's Association. You are invited to share your memories with the family at www.baldwincremation.com.

I had the pleasure of knowing Abigail in the nursing facility where I was her nurse. I'll always remember her quick wit, grace and beautiful smile. Rest In Peace sweet lady.
