James LaPlume Obituary
Mass of Christian burial, celebrating the life of James E. LaPlume Sr., 80, of Palm Coast, who passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014 will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 9:30 until 10:30 am in the memorial room at the church. James was born in Worchester, MA and moved to this area in 2008 after spending 20 years in St. Augustine. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, NRA, American Legion, VFW, and the German American Club. He enjoyed Traveling, and loved cars. He retired after 25 years in the United States Army serving in Korea and Vietnam. James is survived by wife of 35 years Margaret, sons; James E. LaPlume Jr. and James E. Claypool Jr., both of Maryland, daughters; Patricia LiBeratore of Maryland, Kathleen Guthrie of Maryland, Linda Fritch of Maryland and Rebecca Jones of CA, 6 siblings, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Donation may be made in Mr. LaPlume's name to the American Legion Post 115, 47 Old Kings Rd. N., Palm Coast, FL 32137 or The VFW Post 8696, 47 Old Kings Rd. N, Palm Coast, FL 32137. The family of Mr. LaPlume entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
