Dear Sandy,
I guess I won't look for "Dad" in the hallways anymore. I know it took me a long time. I guess because it was such a shocker. And you know Doris has his picture over her bed. It makes me sad every day. You guys know I loved your Dad, and I sure love you guys. So sorry for your loss. Always thinking of you and your crazy brothers. Hugs and kisses always. And tell Bill and Michael I love them too. Pauline

Sandy,
I'm so sorry to see your dad's passing. There are no words that will comfort you. And you already know that only time softens the loss. I think of you often and I hope your life is good.

Sandy, Bill, and Michael:
We've shared so many happy times, I guess it's inevitable that we have to share the sad times as well. Donald and I are here for you guys. We've both been through it, so we share your grief from a very personal standpoint. Donald knew your dad pretty well and always speaks of him with respect. I only had the privilege of knowing him for a few short years. He was his own person, crochety at times but with a sense of humor like no other. I know you will miss him dearly, but he had to get up there and make sure your mother isn't lonely. Try to always remember the good times for in the end they are all that really matter. Memories are for eternity! Love, Jean and Don Walters
