Joseph CREWS Obituary

Joseph Crews

Mr. Joseph Crews, 70, of Nathalie, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, in Lynchburg.

He is survived by his wife, Sallie Crews of the home; two sons, Joseph and Timothy of Lynchburg; one daughter, Elizabeth Crews-Boyd of the home; one granddaughter, Zharina Crews of Lynchburg; one grandson, Johnathan Boyd of the home; one sister, Carolina Crews of the home; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at New Shiloh Baptist Church in Nathalie, with interment in the church cemetery.

Our hearts are saddened. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of sorrow. We have remained arch-rivals as well as FRIENDS of Joe's from our early years of playing baseball with and against each other.
