Today would have been our 20th anniversary on the job. We started this thing together but unfortunately didn't get to finish together. It's hard to feel happy about this milestone without my brother.. Rest easy Bri.. You are loved and missed beyond words.. Happy 20th anniversary. I love you..

I want to express my heart felt sympathy for the loss of one of our own, Detective Brian Simonsen. I sit here watching the funeral for him with tears in my eyes. I mourn for him and all our brother's who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. The grief these family members are going through will stay with them for a lifetime. A day will not go by without his wife, mom and dad wishing Brian was at their side. Brian faced all the perils of this job knowing that tragedy could happen at any time or place. Yet he faced them all heroically. For this he has all the love from me and my family, as well as his Brothers in Blue.
Sincere Condolence,
Detective, Rudy Andre

Brian:
You were a great Detective and I am honored to have worked with you. On the cases that we worked on together you were courteous, kind and a consummate professional. I was most impressed with your ability to win the trust of difficult witnesses. Thank you for being a role model and for the example that you have set. Rest In Peace, Neil Fenton
