Cecilia Dannenberg Obituary

DANNENBERG - Cecilia (Callahan) 54, of Williston Park, died August 26, 2014 at her home. Cecilia was born January 9, 1960 in Queens, New York. She graduated from Albany University, in Albany New York, with a degree in Journalism. She was energetic, passionate and well-regarded in the journalism field, working for several major News Networks including NBC, ABC, and the Fox News Network. She also worked with other news reporters on several made-for-TV documentaries. Cecilia enjoyed reading and socializing with family and friends. Her biggest passion was her own family as she loved her children with all of her heart. She is survived by her husband, Mark Dannenberg of Long Island; her three children Kaitlin, Molly, and Jake; her mother Marie Callahan; her five siblings Dennis, Michael, Irene, Marie, and Martha; and several nieces and nephews. Cecilia was loved by all and will be missed every day. The family will receive friends on Friday August 29th, from 5PM to 9PM, at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home located at 49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, NY. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Aidan's Church in Williston Park on Saturday August 30th at 9:45AM.
