I live in Atlanta now and sadly have gotten to the point where I check the Newsday obituaries trying to stay up on my hometown. I played ball with Kevin & Larry and remember your Dad coaching our Babe Ruth team one Summer. He also helped us visit the Mets in Spring Training in '78 when we were in Florida with the Phantoms. That's a day none of us will ever forget, and it was all thanks to Mr. Usher. He was a good man and I'm remember him for all the great things he did for us ballplayers. And the Jets could still use his reporting!
