I still find it so hard to believe that my incredible cousin Jimmy has passed. He was such an incredible man (father, husband, worker, relative, friend). I have never seen so many people touched by the passing of someone). He was a respected man in uniform... which showed how TRUELY HE was LOVED by ALLLL THE PEOPLE (especially law enforcement) at his 4 viewings & funeral. He was so kind to my entire family (he's married to my 1st cousin). Jimmy.... you were ONE OF A KIND & an INCREDIBLE MAN! I LOVE & MISS YOU, but I know GOD needed another "ANGEL" to help protect everyone in HEAVEN! Give my mommy a HUG & Aunt HELEN & the rest of our family!

Please accept my sincerest offering of sympathy at the loss of James Kirby. I picture him stopping by my office with Laura and the others in their class and I just cannot believe this has happened. He will be remembered fondly by the Touro family and his loss will be deeply felt for a very long time. It is my hope that happy memories will bring peace to the hearts of his family and friends.

Jim, I remember you coming into Eastern Athletic as a gym member who ran from your house to the Club for a continued workout and then run home all after a 12 hour shift on the job. Soon later, I became Ciara's religion teacher and grew to love your family. Your infectious smile will remain a great memory for all the lives you touched. Jim was wonderful at everything he did. Touro Law Center is a better place because Jim was here. Lives are richer because of him, his spirit, his courage and his heart. My prayers are with Jennifer and the rest of his lovely family.

Jim (boss) I don't know what words to say. You were such a good man to work with at communications. Also had the privilege of having working with you as my road supervisor in the third pct. You were a hands on boss. I can honestly say never was an I'll word mentioned with your name. As you were a cops cop. Rest in peace Jim and take a seat to right of God.

Jim I remember meeting you when you first came to the 1st pct so many years ago. we instantly connected over our Bronx and irish heritage. it was an honor to work with you and then for you after you got promoted. your an amazing friend and an even better human being. Jimmy you made so many people smile and you really lived life. Your drive and energy was like no other. You always made me laugh when we talked. Jimmy, these last few days have been hard knowing that you are no longer with us. As I walked the halls and talked to the guys we worked with it made me realize how many lives you touched in such a great way. You were a true friend, a great leader, and mentor to all. My family grew up with the Kirby family in the Bronx and went to school together and I remember Jimmy well. He and my brother Jimmy were thick as thieves in gramer school. He was a nice kid and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I hope he rests in heaven peacefully. My deepest sorrows to Sean and Kenneth.
