Dear Mike, 17 years have passed and I still think about you often and especially when talking to people about Viacom and Cablevision. Not only did we grow up together in North Brentwood from Kindergarten to High School but you also gave me my first decent job back in 1985 at Viacom! That opportunity I will never forget. I wound up working there for 33 years and retired very comfortably in 2017 at 60 years old... Mike, you were a GREAT friend, you were a GREAT boss and just a really great guy overall... I really can't express how grateful I am... I hope you'll know how much you meant to me and all of us in QC... You absolutely gave me the break I needed to have a successful career and to support my family and have a good life... God Bless you Michael... Until our spirits meet again... Love you Mike... I won't forget you even 17 years later or even 25, 30 or 50... Rest easy my Brentwood Brother...

Uncle Mike:( the duct tape king)

Words cant describe how I am feeling right now. You are gone for almost 3 months and I am just now starting to miss you soo much. You were A Really special person to me and I will never forget the good times we had together. Someone once told me that God had a plan for all of us here on earth. I think your purpose was to show everyone what a nice person you were and will be remembered as. You always put everyone else first and I respect you for that. I am just so sorry that I didnt come and see you when you got sick. I didnt want to accept the fact that you were sick and dying. If I could do it all over and you were still here I would spend as much time with you as possible. I LOVE YOU. God placed people in our lives for a reason and you were here to show me that it was ok not to be afraid and to be myself. For that I am forever greatful. Thanks for being there for my Mom as well as my Dad.You are now with Grandpa and Nana and Papa give them a great big hug and Kiss for me. You will never know how much you will be missed. See you one day on the other Side. Love you always and forever. Aunt Patty Mike Patrick and steven you will always be my favorite cousins. Love you always as well

Patty and family. Being down in Florida I feel so distant, but share in your pain as if I was there. I wish I could have been there to attend services for Mike. He was a great leader of people and I learned much from him over the years when I worked for him. He turned into a trusted friend and always supported his team. I'm know he was that way in his personal life with Patty and the children as well. I know he has left quite a legacy behind, and the fact that so many cared about him is a testament to the man, and shows that part of him will live on in many of us. My belief in God tells me that we will meet again. I'll have a beer or three/ Mike maybe a glass, but no more than two of wine. I'll miss you Mike. My prayers go out to you Patty, and the entire family

My deepest sympathy to Patty and her boys also to Mikes mother and his siblings.

I was a neighor of Mikes back on Hewes st. in Brentwood, right across the st. he was a few yrs. older and always looked out for me, I looked up to him as my protector. Mike and all the kids on the block would always play hockey & baseball. He was always there to coach the younger kids. You could always count on Mike to either start up a game or be called on and participate. As a child I always remembered how serious he was involved but yet also how much fun he had playing those games back on Hewes St.

Mike I know I hav'nt seen you in a long time, however, I'm going to miss you.

The word in law never applied to you Mike. You were always my big brother. Ever since I was 5 years old I can always remember you being there. What can I say the love I have for you will always remain in my heart for all of the days of my life. I can only say I miss you and I always will. You gave so much of yourself to all that you met and if their is one word to describe everything you did and gave it would have to be Wonderful!

Mike, you and Patty together always gave 110% of yourselves and I just want to thank you both for being just who you are. I will never stop loving you and Patty.

All My Love Always, Janie

Dear Mike,

I am going to miss you so much.

I wished every day and every night that God would spare your life and make you better. I know your at peace now and not suffering anymore. Over the past 6 months, I hurt so much for you because you were such a wonderful person and knew that such a wonderful person as you, did not deserve this horrible disease. My only wish for all of us left behind is that you watch over us, especially Patty, Micheal, Patrick & Stephen. You need not to worry because they will be taken care of. You were such a great BIG BROTHER to me and Bob, I thank you for that. I also thank you for being such a great uncle to Sarah, Hailey & Joseph. They miss you so much and loved you more than you will ever know.

Remember to send your knuckle sandwiches down to who ever deserves them.(you know who i'm talking about) I love you forever and will see one day on the other side.

Love Always,

Laura

Uncle Mike, I know the past couple of months have been so rough. I had hope every single day that you and Koo would pull through and just get better so you could continue to live your lives with eachother and the boys. I can't believe that you're gone .. both you and Koo, and Michael, Patrick and Stephen, have been dealing with circumstances that no one should ever have to deal with. It doesn't make sense to me, or anyone else, and it never will. I just want things to be how they used to be .. how me and Steph would go to your house every morning last year so Pat could drive us to school and you and Koo would make fun of me for wearing pants with holes in them .. every day! Things like that are the things that will stay with me forever. I will not remember you how you have been the past couple of months, and the last few days of your time here with us. I will remember you as you were before all of this. I'll miss you forever, and you need to watch over your family and make Koo pull through .. the boys need her. I love you Uncle Mike and I'll never forget you!
