DiCRISTO - Thomas , of West Islip, L.I., on May 19, 2007. Beloved husband of Carol DiCristo. Devoted father of Catherine and her husband, Ray Sipel, Thomas and his wife, Debra DiCristo, and the late Vincent DiCristo. Dear brother of Vincent DiCristo. Cherished grandfather of Jessica and her husband, Jason, Raymond, Mark, Patrick, and Lauren, and proud great-grandfather of Ella. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, Monday, 9 AM, at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, West Islip, L.I. Interment, Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, L.I. Visiting, Sunday, 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 PM.

Its funny how in our neighborhood,our parents were not only our parents,but were considered part of our "crowd". I don't remember Mr. Dicristo as vinny's dad, I remember him as one of us. he will be missed by me and I'm sure everyone of our little rag tag crew..god bless

I will never forget the day we were at captree with vinny and the boat and the weather and the water was very rough and pic was trying to get the boat out to the ocean and tom was at the dock screaming what the heck are you doing to water is too rough but pic tried to get out but turned back after his dad begged him repeatedly...
i will miss him..............
