Dr.Malik
Man, I am still in shock.
My mom always said you reminded her of me. Then we met and had a relationship. I am heart broken. I hope you know you are loved. Your beautiful wife and children have lost a great man. And lastly the animals you helped.
I am rarely without words. I am crying and very sad though I am sure you wouldn't wan that
Love , Michael

Steve was my best friend in high school and college. He taught me many things, like how to drive a stick shift car, (He never minded how I beat the hell out of his Jeep Wrangler. He was patient and we laughed a lot.), how to snorkel (He took my hand and never let it go), how to jet ski (He could jet ski with his eyes closed and his hands tied behind his back. He was good at everything.), college math (Steve did all the homework and tutored me for the tests that I always bombed. Steve was super smart!), how to be a better person (which I think I am), and most important how to love (Thank You). We shared the love of family, animals, volleyball, and so much more. These are the memories that I will treasure and carry with me for the rest of my life. I now pray for peace and healing for his family, wife, young children and all his dear friends. Steve, I hope you are resting in peace in the loving hands of the Lord. You will be missed.

To my brother, I have no words. Your passing is so sad. The deepest sadness. I remember how we played together and laughed and teased. You were such a good quiet soul. I will never be the same. May you have the peace and happiness you deserve and more. May you be blessed by God to the fullest. You will be forever and ever missed. I'm sorry I could not have helped you better or understood what you were going through. Xox

Very sorry to hear about this. Steve was a very good hearted, strong willed, intelligent person. We shared a locker Freshman year of High School, and were friends throughout High School. We had many laughs, and many crazy nights together with friends. Steve and I had lost touch for almost 20 years, then re-connected through Facebook around 2011. I had noticed he disappeared from Facebook a little over a year ago, and have always wondered why... So sorry to hear about him being gone at such an early age, and in such a tragic way. My heart goes out to all of his Wife and Children, other Family and close friends.
