Terry Hobbs Obituary
Terry was born November 25, 1969 in Columbus, GA to Terry & Ruth (Hand) Hobbs, Sr. and moved here in 1999 coming from Atlanta. Terry is an FSU Graduate with a degree in political science who also loved music, which included playing guitar, singing and writing his own songs. He previously owned the Mello Mushroom restaurant in Atlanta prior to moving to Panama City Beach. He worked locally as real estate agent with Exit Realty and most recently was working as a builder.
Terry is survived by his parents, Terry and Ruth Hobbs, Sr. of Panama City Beach, his children Terry Hobbs, III and Circe Hobbs both of Panama City Beach, his uncle, Van Hobbs of Wadley, GA and his aunts, Penny O'Shiels of Gainesville, GA and Mary Ellen Pike of Thomasville, GA.
Friends will be received Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where funeral service will take place 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow the service in Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

I met Terry many years ago when I worked and managed the Mellow Mushroom that he owned. We were instant friends as we are both Sagittarius's (my bday is 11/24, his 11/25) and both loved music and enjoyed causing mischief, LOL. I left Atlanta in 2001 and we lost touch. Today I decided to try and look up my old friend Terry and find this. Speechless..... Looks like he has some beautiful children he was raising. Turns out we have only been a couple hours away from each other all this time. I'm in tallahassee. My deepest sympathies to his parents and children. Terry was a wonderful man with a zest for life. I have many great memories.

I only met Terry once, but spent a lot of time with his son Terry III and his daughter Circe. They are beautiful children of God and I miss them. I'm praying tonight for all the family. I'm so sorry for this loss and wish I could hug the pain away. Although I can't do that, I can pray for you, and I'm doing that even tonight. God be with you, Terry and Circe. I love you and your family!
