Ronald Mosley Obituary

Ronald Carle Mosley of Fairbanks, Alaska, passed away peacefully on Oct. 11, 2024, at the age of 66, with his loving family by his side.

Ron was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Fairbanks on April 26, 1958. He graduated from Monroe Catholic High School in 1977, where his love for basketball was born. He went on to attend the carpenter's apprenticeship and worked as a journeyman carpenter for 40 years. Throughout his career, he worked in many cities and villages throughout Alaska, as well as in Hawaii. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, cooking, giving advice, and making people laugh. He will be deeply missed by those whose lives he touched.

Ron was welcomed into heaven by his parents, Ruth and Toby Mosley; siblings, Rhonda and Howard; and numerous dear friends. He leaves behind his soul mate, Nancy; children, Ronnie Mosley II and Julia Schnieders (Ben); sisters, Raychelle (Ron), Carol and Gail; brother, Merrill (Janet); grandchildren, Skyler and Emery; niece, Heather (Hans); nephews, Matthew and David; and many other family members.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Jan. 3, 2025, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1300 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska. A reception will follow at 3 p.m. in the church's community hall. Burial will be in the spring of 2025 at Northern Lights Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by Blanchard Family Funeral Home.

"Those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music." Ron. I have lived and worked in seven states and three very different countries. Now I am an old man and you are still the funniest person I ever met. I am in that picture. Top left. When I think back on all the things you said and did, all those bizzaro situations, I do not smile. I still laugh outload. Thank you and goodbye.
