Betty Dudding Obituary

Raleigh
Betty Parker Dudding, 90, of Raleigh, formerly of Charlotte, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
She was born on December 29, 1921 to the late Esther Williams Parker Fairbanks and Harry Parker. She committed her life to God early and served as a Captain in the Salvation Army. She later worked in accounting until her retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Phillip Parker, Melvin Parker, Thomas Fairbanks; and sister, Katherine Fairbanks Lamb.
She is survived by a brother, Harrison Parker; niece, Carolyn Terry and her husband, Frank Leatherman, Jr.; nephews, Robert Terry and Alex Leatherman; and other loving family members in the Mooresville area.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 22 at Willow Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30-1:30 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
