I worked with Mr. Broughton (could not call him Charlie to his face--to much respect for him) for many years. Charlie was a hard worker and expected all to be the same and was many times stern. But he was fair, helpful and cared as much about his job as anyone I had every kown. I learned a great deal from him and am greatful for the opportunity I had for that. My condolences to his family, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Very sad to hear about the passing of Charlie. He was a dear friend and work associate for many years at Nationwide. Charlie was devoted to his work, his friends but most importantly to his family. I recall many times he loved taking his Mother out for meals. I will cherish the many memories of fishing and playing friendly card games with Charlie. God bless you Charlie and your surviving family.Steve Moody, Emerald Isle

To the Broughton family.
May the God of all comfort strenght you during this difficult time. Those who pass on God keeps in his memory and gives us a wonderful hope to look forward to in the near future.... Hosea 13:14.

I worked with Charlie for many years at Nationwide and always found him to be a man of humor and laughter. He was a cut-up and was thought well of by all who knew him. He will be remembered with great fondness. May he rest in peace.
