Gastonia, North Carolina - GASTOINIA - Doris Froneberger Gore, 86, passed away on April 24, 2021, at Robin Johnson House, and entered into the presence of her Heavenly Father. Those left to cherish her beautiful memories include her beloved husband of 41 years, Billy ("Bill") Charles Gore who affectionately called her "Darlin"; her son, Mike Propst and wife Debbie; brother, Bobby Froneberger and wife Betty; step-son Charles ("Chaz" or "CB") Gore and wife Paige; three step-daughters, Katrina Carol Gore, Donna Gore Vea, Catherine Gore Alonso and husband Steve; brothers-in-law, Robert ("Bob") Caudle, H.C. ("Bud") Gore, Jr. and wife Pat of Raleigh, Bobby Gore and wife Anna; grandchildren, Jennifer Miller and husband Ben, Heather Ritch and husband Sean, Timothy ("Tim") Grzonka, Casey Gore; great grandchildren, Reese and Lane Miller, Mason and Carsyn Ritch and Olivia Grzonka ("OGG-ie"); nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 28th at New Hope Baptist Church, 2024 Redbud Drive in Gastonia. The funeral service will follow in the sanctuary at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday with Reverend Dr. Brandon McKoy and Reverend Dr. Ned Buckner officiating. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia with the releasing of the doves. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church General Fund, 2024 Redbud Drive, Gastonia, NC 28056 or a charity of your choice. Due to the current COVID situation, the family kindly requests that everyone attending the funeral service to please follow safe social distancing, and refrain from shaking hands and hugging. For those who cannot or choose not to attend the service, it will be live streamed whereby you can watch the service on New Hope Baptist Facebook. Doris was a friend and fellow worker at Ti-Caro. She has always been a joy in the workplace and at home or other events over the more than 40 years I knew her. Doris will always be dear and precious to me.
