Ed Fox Obituary
Knightdale
Fal Edward "Ed" Fox, 71, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015 at his home after months of declining health. Ed was born in Gastonia on May 25, 1944 to the late Fal Anderson Fox and Aline Bradley Fox. He served his country in the Air National Guard and on June 11, 1965 he married Cheri Dagenhart Fox. He was a retired commercial electrical equipment salesman.
Funeral service at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 8400 Poole Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale and other times at the home.
Ed is survived by his wife Cheri; son Kelly Fox (Robin) of Knightdale; daughter Sheri F. Gorlesky (Mark) of Zebulon; grandchildren: Will and Ben Fox, Sage Gorlesky; sister Pamela Fox Henson of Belmont; nephews: Jonathan Plezz Henson, Bradley Snyder, and his beloved Bassett Hound, Miley.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brother Glenn Fox and sister, Peggy F. Snyder and Nancy Fox.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Upward Basketball Program or Knightdale Dragons Football and Cheer, PO Box 936, Knightdale, NC 27545.
