Fuquay-Varina
Eugene "Gene" Bill Tutor, age 79, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Baptist Grove Church Cemetery, 6140 Christian Light Road, Fuquay-Varina. The family will receive friends following the service.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Mavis Dean Tutor; and brothers, Franklin and Benny Tutor.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Norma Jean Tutor; daughters, Gina Hodges of Fuquay-Varina, Lori Tutor of Shallotte, and Maria Wheat and husband, Bryan Furtick of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Heather Matthews, Holly Williams and husband, Clayton, Jeffrey Dewar, Joshua Dewar, Haley Hodges, Madison Wheat, and Lindsay Dewar; great-grandchildren, Adalyn and Jacob Johnson; brother, Alvin Tutor; and sisters, Marie Collins, Judy McLean, Brenda Suggs, and Mary Thomas.
