Jeff Hooks Obituary

Jeffrey Clayton Hooks

Garner

Jeffrey C. Hooks died Jan. 11 at his Garner home. He was born June 16, 1959 in Charlotte to the late John M. and Ona G. Hooks. He was a graduate of Broughton High. He worked primarily at NCSU and recently at Copiers Plus. He attended North Ridge Bible Chapel.

Jeff is survived by his brother, Todd (Lorena); and nephew John Hooks of Altamonte, Springs FL. He was predeceased by his wife Larue Hooks, his parents John and Ona and brother Jay Hooks.

Family visitation will be held on Jan. 16 at 10:00 AM at North Ridge Bible Chapel followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers tax-free memorials may be made to North Ridge Bible Chapel, 7100 Harps Mill Rd, Raleigh NC 27615.

Sincere condolences to each family member ! Jeff's easy going spirit will be missed, but his faith in Christ Jesus is now rewarded in his heavenly home. I know his wish is for each of his friends and family to join him there one day :)

Jeff and my father were cousins, and I always enjoyed his company, especially at Thanksgiving. He had such a gentle soul and an endearing personality. We will definitely miss him.
