Warrenton, VA

Jessie Lee Davis Paul, formerly of Murfreesboro NC, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2015.

Mrs. Paul, known as "Sissy" to her immediate family, was the youngest of 7 born in Davis, NC to Lena and Irvin W. Davis, Sr. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by four sisters: Louise Hill, Elsie Hunt, Elizabeth Potter and Pearl Davis.

Mrs. Paul is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles L. Paul; two children and their families, Linda and Brett Martin and their son Nicholas of Warrenton, VA, and Andrew and Sarah Paul and their daughters, Abigail and Elise of Middletown, VA; brother, Irvin "I.W." Davis, Jr., and sister, Virginia Hughes, and many nephews, nieces, and extended family throughout her beloved Carteret County, NC.

A memorial service will be held in North Carolina at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Chowan University in Murfreesboro NC or hospice.
