John L. Reardon, Jr.

July 6, 1928 – January 16, 2014

FRANKLINTON

John L. Reardon, Jr., 85, died Thursday night in Bradenton, FL. Mr. Reardon retired from the US Air Force and the US Department of Agriculture.

A funeral mass will be held 2:30 pm Tuesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 460 Fox Park Rd., Louisburg. The family will receive friends Tuesday 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth M. Reardon; sons and daughters-in-law, John Reardon, III and Veronica of Franklinton and Daniel Reardon and Marie of NY; sister, Beth TiLiddo of Worcester, Mass; brother, William Reardon and wife, Phyllis of Cape Cod; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Building Fund, 937 N. Main St., Louisburg, NC 27549.
