Jorge "Jorgito" Rivera Romero, of Willow Springs, North Carolina, born on July 4, 1998 in Celaya Guanajuato, Mexico, to Eva Romero and Jorge Rivera II, passed away at age 20 on September 13, 2018 at home in Willow Springs, North Carolina. He attended Tammy Lynn Center. Jorge is survived by his brothers, Emmanuel and Santiago; grandmothers, Rosa Leon and Ester Calderon; and grandfathers, Jorge Rivera Sr. and Juan Romero. He was a member of Primera Iglesia/First Church. The family invites donations in Jorge's name to Primera Iglesia/First Church "Jorgito's Playground". Friends and family members may attend the celebration of life, officiated by Rev. Sergio Vitanza, on Friday, September 21 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Primera Iglesia/First Church, 1100 Eagle Rock Road, Wendell, North Carolina, 27591. Following that, there will be a graveside service, officiated by Rev. Sergio Vitanza, from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27603.
