Karin Stephens
September 5, 1930 - January 17, 2021
Frederick, Maryland - Karin H. Stephens passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Frederick, MD. She and husband George were residents of Raleigh, N.C. for over sixty years. Karin was an active volunteer with the Raleigh Fine Arts Society, The North Carolina Museum of Art and The Junior League of Raleigh. She was also a longtime patron of the N.C. Symphony and a member of Christ Episcopal Church. She is survived by her husband George M. Stephens Jr, originally of Asheville, NC and by her three children.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the NC Museum or Art or the Raleigh Fine Arts Society would be gratefully accepted.

I remember enjoying chatting with Karin and George when we would see each other at NC Symphony concerts. She was always very congenial and gracious. George, we miss you in Raleigh and hope you are doing well and are still having fun playing flute!
